Paul established Connor in 1992 with the aim of helping businesses and people reach their full potential. Paul's early HR career was spent at Marconi before moving to Hewlett Packard. He has also worked for Digital, Nortel and General Datacom in various HR, training and line management roles.
He has extensive knowledge in the areas of business strategy, restructuring of companies, mergers and acquisitions, leadership and management development programmes and all aspects of performance management. Paul remains a frontline HR practitioner and is highly regarded in the marketplace for providing HR support that is practical, business focused, relevant and communicated in plain English.
Paul is innovative and inquisitive and has the knack for getting to the heart of the problem. He has the ability to tackle complex issues, coming up with pragmatic solutions and communicating the answer in plain English.
Fraser has over 12 years of experience in the HR and Training and Development arena, gained firstly in the Engineering industry with Bechtel where he worked on a number of projects including the Channel Tunnel High Speed Rail link and then with M W Kellogg where he managed HR on number of construction sites around the world including Nigeria and Norway. He joined Connor in 2000 as a Senior Consultant and became a Director in 2006.
Fraser's wide ranging expertise covers designing and delivering a number of HR services including Training and Development, Employment Law, Outplacement, and Performance Management. His natural curiosity and business brain makes him passionate about understanding his clients businesses and delivering projects which are 100% relevant to their world. His clients view him as an extension of their organisation.
Helen has a strong commercial background in corporate roles. She has 20 years experience of HR and management work, primarily focused in the hi-tech world. She held management roles at various software and internet organisations, and spent 3 years as the HR Director of an international telecoms company before pursuing freelance consulting work.
The step away from the corporate world gave her the opportunity to work more widely across various public, private and charity sector organisations where she greatly enjoys interim and consulting work.
She has worked with a wide variety of organisations including Alcatel Telecom, Embarcadero, Bluefish, Encoda Systems, Workforce Window and the NHS.
Helen has an eye for detail which enables her to plan out and implement solutions to deliver specific benefits to clients. She loves getting involved at the hands-on level to help to resolve organisational and employee relations issues effectively.
Delivering HR Flex support with Connor she enjoys taking a personal approach to her clients, and loves getting to know the individuals she works with. She takes great satisfaction from helping her clients return to focusing on the revenue generating activity, and from seeing them successfully take steps forward in resolving potential costly HR issues.
Jane is a hands-on, commercially focused HR professional with more than 20 years generalist HR experience working at senior/board level; leading the development and execution of optimisation strategies to support delivery of profitable business objectives. Works to high standards of professionalism and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Experience within diverse business sectors including: IT & Telecomms; Academic & Educational Publishing; Broadcasting; and FMCG. Working within many different environments - from the warehouse to the board room.
Developed and led complex restructuring, integration and change programs as a result of mergers and acquisitions (from both sides) including TUPE; whilst retaining key staff and minimising disruption to business operations.
Acutely commercial, delivering many significant cost saving initiatives, including: harmonisation of 9 pension schemes leading to the closure of a DB scheme; reduced recruitment costs; reduced car fleet costs; developed personal development programs resulting in staff retention and improved productivity; improved supplier terms and conditions.

Mona is a commercially focused HR leader with proven expertise in leadership, personal effectiveness coaching, organisational design and development and training conception and delivery. She has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, TUPE and outsourcing, company rationalisations and improvement and capability transformations.
Mona has extensive experience at senior level within multinational organisations working internationally in Europe, Asia and North America. with a solid background in operational HR, Mona also has particular expertise in delivering strategic HR which is focused on the needs of the business.
Mona's operational generalist experience ranges from performance management, employee relations, trade unions negotiations, training design and delivery to compensation and benefit and design and pension trustee.
Mona's background includes a successful career at PerkinElmer, an international organisation with 8500 employees and a turnover of $2bn. Previously she held senior level positions at PPG Industires and Ryer plc. Working in an interim management capacity, Mona held a senior HR position at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Clive has operated at Divisional Director level in UK and US owned multi-nationals. His experience includes Director level positions in HR primarily as well as Business Development across Europe and Operations. He also ran his own business for five years and has served as Interim HR Director for privately owned and ‘not for profit’ organisations. He therefore brings considerable commercial awareness to any HR role.
Clive has worked in a variety of sectors including Production, Distribution, Retail, Construction, Facilities Management, Engineering, Recruitment, Outplacement, Property Management and Charities/ Not For Profit with organisations such as Allied Domecq, EMCOR, DBM, CB Richard Ellis and Jardine Motor Group.
He has managed a number of Employment Tribunal cases, compromise agreement negotiations, redundancy and restructuring programmes. His recruitment experience is extensive. Clive has significant TUPE experience from an HR and as a Business Development Director leading outsourcing bids. In addition Clive has a keen interest in management succession, people development, coaching and training.
Natasha was worked within HR for over 20 years and has operated at Senior Manager Level for the past 10 years, in both UK and US owned corporations. Natasha has experience of working within organisations at all levels of management at locations throughout the UK & Worldwide. In doing so she has a wealth of experience supporting the cultural and working practice differences of locations in countries such as Oman, Singapore, Falkland Islands & the Seychelles.
Natasha has worked in a variety of sectors including Engineering, Broadcast, Support Services, Market Research, Retail, Insurance and Recruitment. Whilst in Engineering in addition to commercial contracts Natasha has worked on both Government and Military contracts, so understands the complex requirements these can put upon a company and has held high level Security Clearances.
Natasha has vast experience of Employee Relations, handling Disciplinary, Grievance, Compromise Agreement Negotiations, Redundancy and Restructuring Programmes. She has extensive experience of developing Policies and Procedures which are both legally compliant and meet the cultural demands of the organisation. She has developed Reward and Retention processes, ran Job Evaluation schemes. Natasha has led the introduction of Performance Management systems, in addition a number of employee satisfaction surveys across various sizes of organisations and designed Employee Handbooks.
She has worked in partnership with Business Development Teams as the HR contributor for a number of years. This includes contributing to the strategic decisions of what to bid for through to ensuring the Company has the right people in the right roles to fulfil the successful bids.
Natasha is qualified to Level 2 of SHL Occupational Testing, which enables her to administer and interpret Psychometric Tests, Personality and Motivational Questionnaires. She has used them part of recruitment campaigns and management development
Natasha lives in Kent. She enjoys a variety of active pastimes including Running, Pilates and Tennis. In addition is a very active committee member of her children’s school Parents Association.
Rachel has operated at Senior Director level in UK and US owned corporate for over 25 years. Her experience includes leadership positions in HR primarily as well as in sales across Europe. She has also run her own business for two years. The combined experience she has gained in HR and sales enables her to add value in a multitude of ways. Her ability to take account of commercial needs when dealing with people issues and people when providing practical advice on business matters is quite unique
Rachel has worked in a variety of sectors including Information Services, Media, Advertising, Marketing Services, Automotive, Recruitment, Training and Development and Education.
Rachel has vast experience of Employee Relations experience, handling large case loads of disciplinary, performance, grievance and dismissal issues. She has managed a number of Employment Tribunal cases, compromise agreement negotiations, redundancy and restructuring programmes.
Her recruitment, talent management, coaching and training and development experience is extensive and she is also used to managing pay and bonus reviews, advising on pensions as well as other personnel administration issues.
Rachel has developed HR strategies for many businesses that fit the overall strategic goals for the company and has successfully implemented those plans. She has worked closely with several MD’s to restructure executive teams, introduce performance management processes and systems, design sales remuneration and incentive schemes, manage change, improve internal communications and deliver management training and development
Rachel lives in Oxfordshire. She enjoys a variety of active pastimes including cycling, tennis and skiing. She balances these with interests in amateur dramatics, the theatre and creative writing and is the Chair of Governors of a local primary school.
Kate is a versatile, solution focussed and commercially aware HR and training professional with over 16 years experience, acting as a support and business partner to business leaders to add immediate value. Kate is able to see both the big picture and focus on the detail to design deliver and communicate people solutions for business improvement.
With a straight forward questioning approach which quickly gets to the route of the problem to be solved and an enjoyment of working in collaboration with other business decision makers to get results. Kate has worked on HR projects such as Business re-structures, new business wins and service transitions including TUPE, business improvement and employee development, benefits reviews and UK employment issues.
Sharon is a Senior Executive specialising in Human Resources. She has extensive experience gained in fast moving International commercial environments with the last 9 years operating within a Private Equity owned business.
Natural style is open, engaging, commercially and results driven channelled through strong people practices and relationships.
She can operate comfortably within all organisations regardless of size/turnover and understands the difficulties often faced with start-ups/small business having both started her own business and been part of a Telecoms start-up.
